I get Going Today

I am not letting the recession get to me. I am am not waiting for goverments to sort themselves out I am gettting going today (IGGT).

Customers are the lifeblood of any business and if you want to retain your customers in the competitive world you need to speak to them. forget about emails. a lot of people get so much spam that they delete even friendly mail. If you mention money in an email some spam traps will flag it as spam. this is fine but someone is sends you money and mentions it in an email you may find you don't get it.

Without a steady stream of customers a business will not survive and now that money is tight customers are being more discerning and looking for value for money. you need to talk with your customers and learn about their needs in order to provide value to the service you offer.

I Get going Today -Fishing For Customers

What is the best way to build a business, most home based business owners go fishing for customers on the Internet.

First they prepare their bait, a web age or web capture page to attract potential customers. once the bait is prepared they cast ii out by usings FREEFFAS or web page submitters, classified adds,forums and traffic sites.

Then they sit and wait and wait

Then a strike a potential customers completes a contact form and then the business owner has a fight on their hands to land the catch, often the contact form will contain false information and your catch will slip away, at other times the potential customer is no use to you so you have to put them back

The problem arises if you are relying on customers to provide food for your business. when you take into account the amount of time an effort it takes to catch the right fish you might as well go to the fish market and buy one there.

The business that I run has adopted the same attitude, rather than search for potential customers in a big pool, I let someone else do that and then buy from them, that way I can guarantee the customer is what I want.

IGGT - I get going today

Life is very much what you make of it for example take two people one who is busy and one who has a small workload, who would you give the extra work to?. Most people would say give it to the one with the smaller workload.



I would beg to differ by giving it to the one who is already busy because everyone like to work within their comfort zone and the less busy person has probably got used to low production and will not make much effort to work harder. The busy person will somehow find the time to take on the additional task.



Today a business friend suggested that in order to be more successful online I should set up a new website or blog every day, so that is what I am going to do to support my health and wellness business.

IGGT

So the whole world is heading towards a recession and the news is full of doom and gloom as people are worried about making ends meet. There are going to be tough times ahead so now is the time to get going. IGGT is going to be leading the way.

Some things are outwith our control so do not worry about them,concentrate on matters that you can change and influence. If you need money find some extra income, look through your your house and you are bound to find items that you no longer use or need, so why not sell them. What about all the items in your loft or garage that are taking up space.

Times are tought but because I get going today(IGGT) i am taking postive action to reduce ongoing utility bills, Switching off lights, turning down the heating or air conditioning wil all save you money. I live in a hot country but use natures air condition by opening windows, supportd by a fan on windless days, rather than running air conditioning units. Recently I switched off a bedroom fan and reduced my electric bill by 10%.

IGGT

Its tough to earn a living today and they say when the going gets tough the tough get going and that is what this IGGT I Get Going Today is all about. the longer that you sit about doing nothing more than bemoaning the situation the worse of you will be.

I have a number of businesses both on and offline, one is a beach bar in Kota Kinabalu, we are a small bar with competition from other bars and nightclubs, who are jealous because we seem to get all the customers. We do not get these customers by chance we work hard at it, instead of sitting waiting for customers we go out leafleting and talking to people.

We talk to our customers and find out about them and what they want to see in Borneo, this interest pays dividends because we offer information to help them enjoy their hard earned vacations.
